Dayton Business Journal 2012 Award
The Dayton business community rocked out Thursday night at the Dayton Business Journal’s annual Best Places to Work event, held downtown at the Schuster Center. The event — which featured a rock and roll theme — drew nearly 250 attendees and recognized 15 companies in the Dayton region. The Best Places to Work gala also featured an “air guitar” challenge. McAfee was among the 2012 Best Places to Work winners! 2012 marks the 8th year in a row the DBJ has conducted this very popular awards program. After the winners were recognized, the “air guitar” challenge began. After a heated battle, the team from TriComB2B claimed victory after performing AC/DC’s “It’s a Long Way to the Top (If You Wanna Rock and Roll.)” They narrowly edged out (in a tiebreaker) the team from Devry, which skillfully handled Prince’s “When Doves Cry.” We are pleased to announce McAfee took 3rd place with their air guitar rendition of A/C D/C’s “To Those About to Rock”. McAfee recognizes that this victory would not have been possible if it were not for the positive marks and wonderful feedback members of the McAfee team provided.
